The Gauteng province launched the Green Doors initiative, which provides safe spaces for victims of gender-based violence. These sites, located within five kilometers of local police stations, offer services such as emotional support, trauma debriefing, and referrals to police for case filing. A total of 66 Green Doors are spread across the province, primarily in vulnerable wards.
